Bottle Recycling Project

At 8:00 am on June 9th, 2018, the Calgary Chinatown Lions Club, with the support from the Calgary Chinatown BIA, together held a bottle recycle drive in China town to raise money for the Children and Youth Program. Summer camp has started and there is a waiting list of children that cannot afford to attend the camp. Some of the money raised will go towards supporting these children. This very meaningful event was a success, according to Alberta Depots, it is Alberta’s largest, single-day bottle drive supporting local community organizations, with many volunteer busy collecting bottles until noon.
